After about 10 hours, I finished installing m3 cams into my engine. I’m letting the rtv set overnight. I’ll find out tomorrow if I put it back together properly...
Pictured: just after removing the valve cover. No oil in the spark plugs, at least

If you don’t have to drive it to work monday morning, you may want to get the RTV out of there and use the recommended DreiBond 1209.

Last time I had my S54 peeled open, I looked EVERYWHERE for that sealant, and it turned out pretty much the only place in the USA that had it was 20 miles away from my house.

What kind of clown shoe do you drive? Z3 or Z4? I’m assuming since it’s an S54, it’s a Z4.

And you got an S54 in there? That’s one rare beast.

2001 and 2002 had S54 engines. 690 produced for North America between both model years. Mine’s an additionally rare example in that it’s a sunroof-delete car.

I wasn’t sure when they changed to the S54, I love rare BMWs, I’m sure you know, but that is an awesome car.
